Do you make custom menus?
Customization is our starting point and our specialty, so yes!
Almost every order is a custom-made menu card or menu stand . In our webshop, we use a few standard sizes and principles. You choose your own color and spine. We'll finish it off with an engraving.
Can I order a different size than what is listed in your webshop?
In our experience, A4 and A5 (both portrait), Carré (square), and X-Long (oblong) formats are the most common in the hospitality industry. With these formats, you benefit from our previously created working drawings and the established production process. The exact dimensions can be found with the products under Specifications.
If you'd like something different, we can make it! For example, a small A6 menu card, a round menu card, or any other shape. Want to go all out? Feel free to share your ideas, because we produce everything in-house and can create virtually any shape or size. Please keep in mind that there will be startup costs and a longer delivery time, as custom requests require additional development time.

This is a question we get regularly, and it follows on from the previous FAQ. In our webshop, you can order the most common menu sizes, but generally, nothing is too crazy for us. Feel free to show us your example, share your idea, and we'll see if we've already made it.

What is the difference between diamond engraving and laser engraving?
We use two engraving techniques, each with a different result. It's a matter of taste which type of engraving suits you best. The biggest difference is the depth of the engraving. Diamond engraving creates a beautiful relief (more depth) and is always silver-colored because we completely remove the top layer of the material. With laser engraving, we only remove a small amount of the coating, creating a "colored" engraving. This creates minimal depth in your menu.
What do the icons on your products mean?
We've added pictograms to our products. This way, you can see at a glance how to keep your menus or menu stands looking their best for as long as possible.

Even though we're an online store, we don't shy away from personal contact. Feel free to call us or send a message via the contact form, and we'll schedule a meeting to discuss your needs.
Can I request a sample first?
Absolutely! If you're completely undecided, order our sample fan deck . Still unsure about a few colors? Requestindividual sample cards . We charge a small fee (deposit) for both.
Can I also come to you?
We have a showroom where you can view examples of our products. We're happy to schedule a visit. Please contact us using the form on this page.
Can you also come to us?
Just as you're welcome in our showroom, we can also visit your restaurant or bar with sample materials. We're happy to visit you by appointment.
order & pay
How do I order custom work in your webshop?
Once you know what you want, choose the product of your choice in our webshop. For example, a coated menu card with elastic in A5 format .
- Next, you choose the coating color or (for metal menus ) the type of metal.
- Next, select the color of the elastic (for menus with binding screws, the binding screws are silver-colored).
- Finally, choose the type of engraving for your menu and add the desired number of menus to your shopping cart.
Don't forget to select matching inserts . This ensures you can attach your printed material to your menu, as not all inserts have holes in the right places. Complete your order from your shopping cart, and then it's our turn!
Do I need to order a minimum quantity of products?
No. There's no minimum order quantity for almost all of our products. So if you'd like to order just one menu, you can. We also don't charge setup fees for products you order in our webshop. Some menu components , such as binding screws, elastic bands, and split pins, are sold in sets of ten.
Only our luxury menu stands have a minimum order quantity of 200. Simply because the production process is very labor-intensive. For custom sizes, shapes, or materials, you'll receive a quote in advance based on your desired quantity.
Will I get a sample of my order first?
We first create a digital impression of every order. Once we start processing your order, we'll ask you to provide your logo or text. We'll then create a sample (PDF) so you can see what your menu or menu stand will look like. This is always just an impression, of course, but it gives a good idea of the final result. If you're happy with the digital impression, you'll confirm it by email. We'll then put your order into production.
Do you give discounts or have special promotions?
We don't offer discounts on our webshop products. The price of our products reflects the craftsmanship involved, and we don't charge startup fees or surcharges for small orders. We do, however, regularly run exciting (seasonal) promotions. Keep an eye on our newsletter to be notified when they're available!
How can I pay for my order?
You can use various payment methods . In all cases, you shop online with buyer protection .
How do you calculate shipping costs?
We automatically calculate the shipping costs for your order based on its weight. When you enter your shipping address in your shopping cart, we'll display the shipping costs. We usually ship orders with DPD, DHL, or PostNL, always including track & trace.
Can I also pick up my order?
You can pick up your order free of charge from our showroom by prior arrangement. Please specify "Pick up from showroom" when placing your order. Shipping costs will not be charged. We'll let you know as soon as your order is ready. Please let us know when you plan to visit so you don't find a closed door.

What material do you use to make your menus?
We make our coated and metal menus from aluminum composite. This material is dimensionally stable and wear-resistant, and also resistant to frost, moisture, UV light, and heat. Vinyl menus are, of course, made from recycled LPs.
What colors can I choose from?
Our menus are available in 10 standard coating colors, including smooth and sanded metal. Customization is possible upon request. This also applies to elastic : we offer four popular colors, but we're happy to search for a different color. Please note that this customization may affect the price of the final product. You will always receive a quote in advance.
Why can't you deliver within a few days?
When you order your menus from us, you're buying directly from the producer. Each of our products is made especially for you, using traditional methods. We maintain a basic inventory, but every order is different, so we deliberately keep it small to maintain flexibility. If a product is labeled "in stock," it means we have our basic ingredients in stock. Our delivery time varies from 4 to 6 weeks.
How do I deliver my logo to you?
To create a good digital impression of your order, we need your logo as a vector file (.eps or .ai). If you don't have one yourself, you can usually request one from your graphic designer. If that's not possible, we can also convert your (.png or .jpeg) file to a vector file for an additional fee. You will receive a quote for this in advance.
How does my logo get where I want it?
You'll always receive a digital preview of your order, so you can see how we'll display your logo on the menu or menu stand. If you have any ideas, please let us know beforehand when you submit your logo file.
How do I get a digital impression of my order?
After placing your order, you submit your logo or text to us. We'll create a digital impression of it. This is a preview in PDF format, allowing you to properly assess whether the design is to your liking. We'll share this impression with you via email.
Warranty & returns
Can I cancel or change my order?
Almost every order we make is custom-made. Want to cancel your (just placed) order or make changes? Please contact us as soon as possible, preferably by phone (on weekdays). We'll do our best to accommodate your needs. Have you already submitted your logo and have we started creating the digital impression? Or is your order ready for production? Then we've already done the work for you and will be forced to charge a cancellation fee. If your order is already in production, you can no longer cancel it. Please familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions before placing your order.
Can I return my order?
Our products are custom-made. We must consider any returns as lost. If you wish to return an order after receipt, our terms and conditions apply. Is there something wrong with your order? Please contact us. We're happy to find a solution.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Our menus are known for their durability with careful, normal use. Some regular customers don't return for repeat orders for five years. If there's a problem with a product we've delivered, we'll work with you to see what we can do. Orders in our webshop are also protected by Trusted Shops. If your order is damaged or incomplete upon delivery, our Buyer Protection offers complete protection for all your online purchases from certified shops.
sustainability & maintenance
How long do your products last?
The lifespan of our coated and metal menus depends on the intensity of use. Therefore, we can't say exactly how many years they will last. How often is your business open? Do you use the menus daily? How do you care for them? These are all factors that contribute to their durability. Our menus are made of aluminum composite and/or vinyl and have more than proven their durability over the past 15 years.
How do I keep my menus clean?
Our products are specially made for your business and produced with care. You've invested heavily in them and are right to take good care of them! Our products feature pictograms explaining how to clean them. Coated and metal menus can theoretically be put in the dishwasher on a gentle cycle, but we don't recommend that. Never use dishwasher tablets or detergent! Ideally, you should simply wipe the menus yourself with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Even then, use only water and no cleaning or dish soap. Dry them with a tea towel and, instead of stacking them immediately, place them in a (draining) rack first.
How do I clean my menu stands?
You can wipe wooden menu holders with a slightly damp cloth. Wipe evenly to prevent stains, and let them dry thoroughly. If your menu holders are oiled, re-grease them occasionally with maintenance oil . If you have a metal menu holder (stainless steel), you can polish it with stainless steel cleaner.
